Cochran – Mary Ann Dykes, age79, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 13, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. in the First Baptist Church. The family will greet friends after the service at the church. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mary Ann had lived most of her life in Cochran. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Lee and Eudell Giddens Livingston and was preceded in death by her husband, Danny C. Dykes, her sister, Nell Hammack and her brothers, Don Livingston and Cotton Livingston. She was a 1963 graduate of Cochran High School, a graduate of Middle Georgia College and was a Registered Nurse, passionately serving in home health. Mary Ann was a member of Cochran First Baptist Church.

Survivors are her children, Lee (Candi) Dykes of Cochran, Keith (Lisa) Dykes of Macon and Ellen Dykes Hendrix of Cumming; her grandchildren, Taylor (Lucas) Faulk, Lauren Dykes, Ashlyn Dykes, Jocie Hendrix, Allie Hendrix, Avery Dykes and Parker Hendrix; her great grandchildren, Walker Faulk and Wade Faulk (expected in July); several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Mary Ann Dykes to Sacred Roots Farm, a farm that provides trafficked women the opportunity of a new life.
