Cochran – Mary Faye Wynne, age 77, died Sunday, September 18, 2022, at her residence following an extended illness. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mary Faye, raised in Hawkinsville, had lived most of her life in Cochran. She was the daughter of the late James Hobbs and Ernestine Singletary Hobbs Lee and was preceded in death by her son David W. "Davey" Wynne III. She was retired from Lithonia Lighting Company and a former bus monitor for Bleckley County Schools. Mary Faye attended Grace Chapel Church.

Survivors are her daughter, Glenda (George) Calhoun of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Ray (Mandy) Calhoun of Perry and Laccie (Mark) Parsons of Macon; her great grandchildren, Ashlie Calhoun, Maya Calhoun, Braelin Parsons and Claire Parsons; several nieces and nephews including, Teresa (Dale) Waite of Macon, whom she loved as her child.

The family is at 271 GA Highway 257, Cochran and will greet friends from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M Tuesday at Mathis Funeral Home
