Cochran – Michael Blake Martin, age 22, passed away Friday, May 1, 2026, from injuries received in an auto accident. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 4, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roddy Community Cemetery.

Michael, born in Macon, had lived all of his life in Cochran and was preceded in death by his grandmother, Brenda "Nanny" Jones. He was a 2022 graduate of Bleckley County High School, attended Oconee Fall Line Technical College in Dublin and was employed at Robins Air Force Base. Michael loved to fish, hunt and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors are his parents, Becky Mullis (Ray Payton) and Blake (Carolyn) Martin all of Cochran; his sister, Sara-Beth (Caiden) Sanders of Cochran; his grandparents, Keith and Debbie Martin of Cochran; his stepfather, Dr. Lynn "Doc" Mullis of Roddy; several aunts, uncles and cousins; his pet dog, Zeus.
