East Dublin - Minnie Rogers Johnson, age 74, died Wednesday, August 14, 2019, in Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 16, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. in Salem Baptist Church in Bleckley County. Burial will be in Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Twiggs County.

Mrs. Johnson, born in Laurens County, had lived in East Dublin since 1975. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Columbus and Georgia Pope Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Wayne Johnson, her sister, Willie Mae Renfroe, her brothers, Marshall Rogers, Jimmy Rogers and Jack Rogers. She was former owner and operator of Johnson Window Cleaning. Minnie was a Baptist.

Survivors are her children, Angie Rogers and Kenneth Wayne Johnson of East Dublin; grandchildren, Christopher (Carrie Stewart) Bryant, Elizabeth Walsh and Tiffany (Torrey) Robinson of East Dublin; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Sally Thompson, Judy (Dwaine) Barlow and Louise Root of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 130 Sheffield-Bradbury Road, Cochran and will greet friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Mathis Funeral Home.
