Cochran – Neal Stewart, age 80, died Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, August 15, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Neal, born in Rock County, Nebraska, had lived in Cochran since 1972. He was the son of the late Lester Dale and Velma Johnson Stewart. He was a former employee at M&S Concrete and was instrumental in developing the first rolled hay bailer. Neal was a member of Cochran First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors are his wife, Vera B. Stewart of Cochran; his children, Janice (Terry) Sapp of Cochran; Mike Stewart of McDonough and Linda (David) Mills of South Hill, VA; step-children, Debbie (Kenny) Lucas of Cochran and Mark (Jeana) Allen of Wewahitchka, FL; grandchildren, Kristina Fisher, Jessica Sapp, Dakota West, Carl West, Michael Bryan, Aren Pace and Zack Lucas; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends after the service Saturday at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
