Cochran – Nettie Slaughter Adkins, age 77, died Thursday, March 21, 2019, in Serenity Place in Dublin. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Nettie, born in Cochran, was the daughter of the late Richard and Pearlie Williams Slaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband C.B. Adkins and her brothers, Edward Slaughter, Curtis Slaughter and Roy Slaughter. She was a former seamstress for L&H Shirt Factory and was a faithful member of Union Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors are her daughters, Laurie Holland of Cochran and Jackie Adkins and fiance' Rodney Pratt of Douglasville; grandchildren Dylan and Dustin Todd of Cochran; special son-in-law Glenn Todd of Cochran; half-brothers, Jeff (Jill) Slaughter of Cochran and David (Gretchen) Slaughter of Ohio and half-sister Jennifer (Shawn) White of Gresston.

The family is at 164 Lucas Rd Apt. Q and will greet friends one hour before the service Saturday at Mathis Funeral Home.
