COCHRAN – Newt Revel, age 93, died Sunday, November 10, 2019, in Bryant Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Orphan's Cemetery in Dodge County.

Mr. Newt, born in Dodge County, had lived most of his life in Cochran. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Skipper Revel and his son Keith Revel. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base and a US Army Veteran. Mr. Newt was owner and operator of Revel Golf Cart Services, member of Uchee Trail Golf Club and loved the game of golf. He attended Lakeview Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Sarah S. Revel of Cochran; his son, Kendall Revel of Cochran; granddaughter, Natalie Revel Prince of Cochran; great grandchildren, Caleb, Marisa and Marley Prince of Cochran; step-sons, Randy (Cindy) Smith of Houston, TX and Bruce (Amy) Smith of Madison, WI; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 191 S. Sixth St., Cochran and will greet friends one hour before the service Wednesday at Mathis Funeral Home.
