Cochran – Nora Mullis Woodall, age 98, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Royal Care Home in Cochran. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Nora, a lifelong resident of Bleckley County, was the daughter of the late James R. "J.R." and Claudia Lamb Mullis and the wife of the late Rev. Don T. Woodall. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Niki Maxwell, her sisters, Dorothy Dykes, Helen Pritchett and Peggy Nobles and her brother, Earl "Sonny" Mullis. Mrs. Nora was a homemaker and had worked at L&H Shirt Factory, Calvin's Cleaners and Middle Georgia College Bookstore. She was a volunteer Pink Lady at Bleckley Memorial Hospital and a member of Cochran First Baptist Church.

Survivors are her children, Donna (Herman "Tex") Maxwell of Cochran and James E. "Jim" (Vivian) Woodall of Sedalia, MO; her grandchildren, Jimmy (Kathi) Woodall, Brian Maxwell and Angie Woodall (Alan) Reed; ten great grandchildren; her sister, Christine Crafton of Macon; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 804 Daisy Adams Road, Cochran and will greet friends after the service Wednesday at Mathis Funeral Home.
