Cochran – Olin L. Coody, age 72, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, December 28, 2023, in the Perry Houston Healthcare. Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, December 31, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Olin grew up in Pulaski County and was the son of the late Howard and Ida Mae Coody and the son-in-law of the late Steve Evans and Ruby Evans Adkins and Clyde Adkins. Olin was preceded in death by his grandson, Jacob, his sister, Hazel and his brothers, John, Jerry, Albert and David. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base and a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Olin loved his family, fishing and hunting.

Survivors are his wife of 54 years, Barbara Evans Coody of Cochran; his children, John (Brittany) Coody of Nicholasville, KY and Lee Ann (Travis) Hutto of Douglas; his grandchildren, Evan, Lilly, Michael and Caleb; his sisters, Evelyn, Linda and Sheryl; several nieces, nephews and other beloved family members; two dogs.

The family will greet friends after the service Sunday at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
