Obituary

Patricia Ann Eastman Fales, affectionately known as Pat, passed away on October 29, 2026, just one day shy of her 82nd birthday.

Born on October 30, 1944, in Warner Robins, Georgia, Pat was the daughter of the late Robert Seymour Eastman and Lillian Lucille Tharp.

Pat was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy in life was her family. She cherished the special bond she shared with her children and took great pride in the generations of love that followed. Her family was the center of her world, and the love she had for each of them was a lasting gift.

Her love also extended to her precious little dog, Grace, who held a special place in her heart. Grace was more than a pet; she was a treasured companion who brought comfort, companionship, and joy to Pat's life.

Pat will be remembered for the love and devotion she showed to those closest to her, the memories she created, and the special place she held in the hearts of her family. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love she gave so freely will remain a part of those she leaves behind.

She is survived by her three children, Sharon Elaine McBride and her husband, Tommy; Charlene Denise Abbott and her husband, Rob; and Charlie Woodrow Durden Jr. She also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren and five beloved great-grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Fales; her parents, Robert Seymour Eastman and Lillian Lucille Tharp; and her only sister, Barbara Lucille Batten.

Although Pat departed this life just one day before her 82nd birthday, her life was measured not simply in years, but in the love she shared, the memories she created, and the family she held so dear.

**Her love was her greatest gift, and her family will forever be her legacy.**

A private celebration of Pat's life will be held by her family.
