Eastman - Peggy Bolden, age 64, died Thursday, April 8, 2021, at her residence.  Memorial services will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at 6:00 P.M., in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bolden, born in New Orleans, LA, had lived in Dodge County since 1993. She was the daughter of the late Melvin John and Joyce Desroche Keenan and was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee Bolden, III. She was a Homemaker and had worked in Home Health Care.

Survivors are her children, Walter L. (May Claire Bryant) Bolden IV, Melvin (Chelsea) Bolden, Edward (Ashlee Yawn) Bolden and Sara (Seth Newman) Bolden, all from Eastman; grandchildren, Grant Newman, Lee Newman, Jay Bolden and Jace Bolden; sisters, Karen (Alan) Angelo, Debbie (Archie) McConnell, Beth (Arnold) Boudreaux, Kim Makofsky and Pam (Steve) Schott; sister-in-law, Gwen (Floyd) Kinkaid and several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 58 Giddens Harrell Cemetery Rd, and will greet friends an hour before the service, Wednesday, at Mathis Funeral Home.
