Peggy June Nobles, age 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 7, 2022. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.

Peggy, a lifelong resident of Cochran, was the daughter of the late James Earl and Claudia Lamb Mullis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Nobles; her son, Jim Nobles, her grandson; Gage Nobles; her sister, Helen Pritchett and Dorothy Dykes and her brother, Earl Mullis. She was the owner-operator of Frazier Z Mart and had worked at B.C. Moore Department Store.

Survivors are her children, Cheryl (Steven) Johnson, Melody (Mike) Guilmette, Jack (Denise) Nobles and Chris (Cindy) Nobles all of Cochran; her grandchildren, Ashley Barlow, Brett Nobles, Blake Nobles, Chara Nobles, Shayla Tipton, Holden Nobles and Tucker Holland; 7 Great grandchildren; her sisters, Nora Ann Woodall and Christine Crafton and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local church or to the charity of your choice.
