Cochran – Ray Morgan, age 78, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022, at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022, in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with a visitation from 1:30 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. followed by burial in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Ray was born in Colon, the Republic of Panama on August 15, 1944. He was the son of the late James Wood, Sr. and Victoria Tourgeman Morgan and was preceded in death by his brothers, James Wood "Bo" Morgan, Jr. and Elias "Al" Morgan. He graduated from Frayser High School in Memphis TN and was retired from Riverside Ford in Macon. He was an avid Alabama football fan. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and was in the "Old Men" Sunday School Class.

Survivors are his wife, Doris Morgan of Cochran; his children, Troy (Ericka) Morgan of Newnan and Vickie Morgan of Warner Robins; his grandchildren, Garrison (Brittany) Morgan, Gabrielle Morgan, Joseph Morgan, Ryan Morgan and Dezi Morgan. his sister, Sol (Sam) Putnam of Aiken, SC and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 134 Abney Rd, Cochran, GA 31014.
