Cochran – Reid Daniel Harley, age 23, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, December 30, 2022, in Statesboro. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 6, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home.

Reid, born in Houston County, had lived in Cochran since 2011. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronald Edward Harley, Sr. Reid was a 2018 honor graduate from Bleckley County High School, where he played football and soccer. He attended Middle Georgia State University and was a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a BA in Biology. Reid loved his family, his friends and was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.

Survivors are his parents, Ron and Melinda Harley of Cochran; his brothers, Elton L. "LT" (Kristen) Bryant of Cochran, Rhett (Leah Smith) of Macon and Matt Harley of Cochran; nephew and nieces, Shane (Isabel) Bryant, Reese Bryant and Bridgette Bryant all of Cochran; his grandmothers, Luree Bowen of Garfield and Claudia "MeMe" Estes of Warner Robins; his aunts and uncles, Jennie and James Dominick of Warner Robins, Bo and Teresa Harley of TN, Suzanne and Bruce Carter of Helen; great uncles and aunts, Sam and Teresa Bowen of Garfield, Joe and Nancy Bowen of Garfield and Brenda Bowen of Warner Robins; several cousins and many friends.

The family is at the 210 E. Beech St., Cochran and will greet friends from 1:00 P.M. until time for the service Friday at Mathis Funeral Home.
