Cochran – Rene R. Teagle, age 59, died Wednesday, June 6, 2018, in the Bleckley Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home.

Rene, born in Duren, Germany, had lived in Cochran since 1964. He was employed at Middle Georgia State University in Cochran and had worked at Teagle's Garage and Teagle's Service Station. He was a member of the Cochran/Bleckley Jaycees where he was a lifetime member of the Honor Corps.

Survivors are his wife, Ginger Teagle of Cochran; his children, Michael (Amber) Teagle and Rina (Coley) Grantham of Cochran; grandchildren, Gunner and Kade Grantham of Cochran; his parents, John and Kathy Teagle of Cochran; his brother, J.P. (Pam) Teagle of Cochran; his sisters, Ute Fisher, Margaret Hester and Linda (Terry) Conyer of Cochran; several nieces, nephews and great nephews.

The family is at 524 Skipper-Jackson Road and will greet friends after the service Saturday at Mathis Funeral Home.
