Cochran – Riley Hinson Purser, age 65, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024, in Cochran, surrounded by his family. Memorial services will be held Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home.

Riley was raised and had lived most of his life in Cochran. He was the son of the late K.E. and Ann Smith Purser and was preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte O'Neal. Riley was a 1976 graduate of Cochran High School and a US Navy Veteran. He was a salesman for Performance Food Group.

Survivors are his wife, Terri Tripp Purser of Cochran; his children, William Riley "Bill" Purser of Macon, Kelly Purser (Madison) Smith of Cochran, Tricia Ann Purser of Warner Robins and Christian Tripp (Taylor) Purser of Cochran; grandchildren, Kinley Smith of Cochran and Liam Purser of Macon; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family is at 214 Country Club Circle, Cochran and will greet friends after the service Sunday at Mathis Funeral Home.
