Cochran – Robert L. "Bobby" Wade, age 78, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025, in Bleckley Memorial Hospital in Cochran. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 24, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. in Limestone Baptist Church. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.

Bobby, born in Macon, was raised in Cochran and had lived in Atlanta before moving back to Cochran, He was the son of the late Marion Lamar "Buddy" and Evelyn Berryhill Wade. He was retired from Greyhound Bus Lines. Bobby was a 1965 graduate of Cochran High School and a member of the 1965 Cochran High School Basketball State Champion Team. He was an avid Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs and NASCAR fan. He was a member of Limestone Baptist Church.

Survivors are his daughter, Stacey (Charlie) Farrahar of Suwanee; his granddaughter, Phoebe Farraharr of Suwanee; his sister, Ann (Steve) Rowland of Cochran; his nieces, Terri (Jay) Storke of Bonaire and Beverly (David) Dunaway of Hawkinsville.

The family is at 311 Woodland Trail, Cochran and will greet friends after the committal service Monday at Limestone Memorial Gardens.
