Cochran – Ronald M. Shepard, Jr., age 50, died Monday, February 22, 2021, in Bleckley Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 26, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. in Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Ron, born in Dublin, had lived most of his life in Cochran. He was the son of the late Ronald M., Sr. and Jane Small Shepard and was preceded in death by his sister, Christy Shepard Lawson. He graduated from Bleckley County High School in 1988 and worked for 26 years at Boeing Aerospace as a Technical Data Engineer. He was a diehard Georgia Bulldog fan and was a deacon at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, DeAnna Shepard of Cochran; children, Dalton and Rachel Shepard of Cochran; brother, Scott (Robin White) Shepard of Dublin; cousins, Stephen (Karen) Sapp and Pam (David) Addleton; aunt, Patricia (Billy) Sapp; uncles; Bobby Shepard, Bubba (Gloria) Small and Jerry Small; niece Samantha Lawson; nephew, Jacob Tyler Lawson and several cousins.

The family is at 1505 GA Hwy 126 and will greet friends Friday an hour before the service at the church.
