Cochran - Rovan Miller, age 83, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at home, surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025, with a visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Dublin SDA church in Dublin. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Born in Westmoreland, Jamaica W.I, Mr. Miller was the son of the late Sydney E. Miller and Beatrice E. Miller. He was preceded in death by his brother, Clifford Miller and his sister Olga Miller.

Mr. Miller attended Mico Teachers College and the University of the West Indies where he earned his Bachelor Degree in Educational Administration. He dedicated more than 40 years to education serving both as a teacher and interim principal, where he played a key role in teaching and empowering thousands of students.

A man who cherished time with his family, Mr. Miller enjoyed family gatherings, bible study in the early hours of the morning, gardening, swimming, playing the guitar and piano, baking, nature walks and exercising. He also enjoyed sharing the gospel through community outreach and interacting with individuals in whichever community he was.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Nellie Miller; his son Rovan Miller Jr; his daughters Nikki Miller and Dehanney Miller; his grandchildren Tyrique Morris, Kymani Miller, Ariel Miller and Gabrielle Miller. He is also survived by his siblings Vernon Floro, Earl Miller, Lloyd Miller, Norman Miller, Avril Ashmeade, Heather Miller, Almira Miller and several nieces and nephews.

Rovan's life was marked by dedication to family, and faith. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
