Cochran – Roxana Margarita Townsend, age 58, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 28, 2024, in Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville, surrounded by her family.

Roxana was born on June 10, 1965, in Prince George County, MD. She was the daughter of the late Marco Helio and Maria Fresia Badilla Dubroca. She graduated from North Miami High School and had worked as a certified nursing assistant for Taylor Regional Hospital. Roxana was a tough and resilient person in life and at her job. She showed compassion to everyone she encountered. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. She will truly be missed.

Survivors are her son, Mark Anthony (Brittney) Alvarez of Cochran; her grandchild, Easton Alvarez; her sister, Denisse (Michael) O'Dea and many more family members in Cochran and Florida.
