Cochran – Roy "Junior" Hobbs, Jr., age 59, died Tuesday, June 8, 2021, in Bryant Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 11, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Trail Branch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Junior was a lifelong resident of Cochran. He was the son of the late Roy, Sr. and Janice Mullis Hobbs. He  was preceded in death by his sister Susie Hobbs and grandson, Cason La-Rue Floyd. Junior had worked at Gilman Paper Company and was a construction worker.

Survivors are his wife, Lynn Bryant Hobbs of Cochran; daughter, Casey Floyd of Eastman; his brothers, Tim Hobbs and Terry Hobbs both of Cochran; his sister, Janet (Danny) Purser of Cochran; his grandchild, Taylor Floyd; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 164 Warbler Rd, Cochran and will greet friends after the service Friday at Mathis Funeral Home.
