Cochran – Ruby Skipper Manning, age 74, died Saturday, August 28, 2021, in Bleckley Memorial Hospital in Cochran. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, September 3, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cochran.

Mrs. Manning was a lifelong resident of Bleckley County. She was the daughter of the late Tullie Jefferson and Mary Lola Thompson Skipper and was preceded in death by her husband, William Hollis Manning, Sr. Mrs. Ruby was retired from Robins Air Force Base and a Christian.

Survivors are her children, William H. "Bobby" Manning, Jr. and Rickey Manning both of Cochran and Deborah Manning of Twiggs County; her grandchildren, Bradley Manning, KaraLynn Manning, LaraBeth Manning and Keith Bowman; her sister, Esselean (Horace) Sanders of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends after the service Friday at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
