Cochran – Russell Robert Hill, age 42, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at his residence. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home.

Russell, born in Laurens County, had lived most of his life in Cochran. He was preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Jean Hill and his baby, R.J. Hill. He had worked for Cochran Quality Auto Sales, Inc. and was an auto and semi-truck mechanic.

Survivors are his wife, Candice Michele Hill of Cochran; his children, Kaylee Smith, Russell Ethan Hill and Kyla Jean Hill all of Cochran; his grandsons, Ryder Smith and Keanu Walker both of Cochran; his father, Troy (Cindy) Hill of Cochran; his sister, Tanya (Buddy) Long of Danville; his brother, Ricky (Tammy) Hill of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends one hour before the service Wednesday at Mathis Funeral Home.
