Cochran – Ruth White Nobles, age 91, died Sunday, May 3, 2020, at her daughter's home in Woodstock, surrounded by her family. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Twiggs County.

Mrs. Ruth was born and had lived most of her life in Bleckley County. She was the daughter of the late Luther and Josie Moore White and was preceded in death by her husband, William R. "Pete" Nobles, her son Sherman J. Nobles and her sisters, Eloise Carter, Doris Ard and Joyce Richards, her brothers, W.C. White and Luther "Bo" White and her son-in-law, Ray Ellis. She was a former employee at Bleckley Memorial Hospital, a member of the Red Hat Society and attended Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Ruth was an amazing mother, who loved her family and enjoyed cooking and gardening.

Survivors are her daughters, Norphlett (Ronnie) Parker and Ruth Ann (Subhash) Gupta of Woodstock, Judy Ellis and Amy Nobles of Canton and Janet (Richard) Smith of Ball Ground; her son, William Richard "Ricky" (Annette) Nobles of Cochran; her sister, Joann Still of Cartersville; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
