Cochran – Sallie Goebel Berry, age 64, died Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at her residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 3:00 P.M., at Lakeview Baptist Church in Cochran. Burial will be in Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Sallie was born in Hawkinsville on April 16, 1958. She was the daughter of the late James and Hildred Gilbert Goebel. She graduated from Hawkinsville High School and had worked at Lithonia Lighting. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband, Houston Berry of Cochran; her son, James (Angel) Berry of Cochran; her granddaughter, Alexis Berry; her brother, Kenneth Goebel of Savannah; her parents-in-law Rev. Houston Berry and Aloma Berry of Macon; her sister-in-law, Cynthia Abrams of Jeffersonville and her brother-in-law, Ricky Berry of Macon.

The family is at 120 Laurel Drive and will greet friends from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M., Saturday, at Lakeview Baptist Church.
