Cochran – Sara Patsy Hernandez, age 67, died Sunday, May 12, 2019 in Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at Salem Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Hernandez spent her entire life in Cochran. She was the daughter of the late Willie Mae Rogers Renfroe and Jerome Renfroe and was preceded in death by her husband, Henry J. "Joe" Hernandez. She was a homemaker and attended Salem Baptist Church.

Survivors are her children, Joseph (Holly) Hernandez of Abbeville, Kimberly (Greg) Shiver of Dublin and Julie (Patrick) Mimbs of Cochran; brother Frank (Wanda) Renfroe of Thomaston; grandchildren, Mazie Cannon, Brooklynn (Jason McDowell) Hernandez, Skyler Hernandez, Karleigh Shiver, Lizzy Shiver and Abby Mimbs; with two more grandchildren due later this year; great grandchildren, Sophie and Lillian Cannon and several aunts.

The Family is at 141 E Cherry St. and will greet friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, May 13, 2019 at Mathis Funeral Home.
