Cochran – Sharon Rose McDaniel, age 88, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, in Dodge County Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, October 28, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. in Limestone Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Sharon was a lifelong resident of Bleckley County. She was the daughter of the late Ollie and Jewel Hamrick Howell and the wife of the late Ellis W. "Billy" McDaniel. She was a homemaker and a member of Limestone Baptist Church.  She loved her church and loved working with the youth at Limestone Baptist Church and the Girl Scouts.

Survivors are her children, Becky Daniel of Perry and Ricky (Kay) McDaniel of Eastman; her grandchildren, Tomas (Lara) Daniel, Amanda McDaniel, Mandi Sheffield, Angie Davis and Michelle Porter McDaniel; her sister, Judy (Richard) Smith of Cochran; her brother, Eugene (Gina) Howell of Cochran; several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends after the service Monday at Limestone Memorial Gardens.
