Chester – Sheila Cannon, age 63, died Monday, March 21, 2022, at her residence. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rowland Family Cemetery.

Sheila was born in Dublin and was the daughter of the late Louis and Mamie Lou Evans Sapp. She was a graduate of Cochran High School and was retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections where she worked as a licensed practical nurse. She was a member of Cochran First Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Cannon of Chester; her children, Brandi (Larry) Price of Cochran and Trent Cannon of Cookville, TN; her granddaughters, Abigail and McKenzie Price; her sister, Faye (Larry) Johnson of Hawkinsville; her brother, Terry (Janice) Sapp of Cochran and several nieces and nephews.

The Family is at 233 Rowland Chapel Church Rd, in Chester and will greet friends an hour before the service, Thursday at Mathis Funeral Home.
