Cochran – Sheila Holland Smith, age 69, died Thursday, January 21, 2021, in Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 24, 2021, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Sheila, born in Dodge County, had lived most of her life in Cochran. She was the daughter of the late Otha and Mary Rogers Holland. She was a 1969 graduate of Cochran High School and was retired from L&H Shirt Factory. Sheila was a member of Christ Chapel Church.

Survivors are her husband, Larry R. Smith of Cochran; her daughter, Lori Ann (Kip) McGuire of Cochran; grandchildren, Britney (Chris) Foskey, Miranda McGuire and Kaleb McGuire all of Cochran; great grandchildren, Eli Foskey, Kix Foskey, Beau Foskey and Lane Foskey all of Cochran; her sisters, Susie (Bobby) Sanders, Sharon (Ricky) Smith, Sandy (Roger) White and Sara (Billy) Darsey all of Cochran; her brother, Roger (Patricia) Holland of Forsyth; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 279 Jones Road, Cochran and will greet friends one hour before the service Sunday at Mathis Funeral Home.
