Cochran - Shirley Ann Allen Bryant, age 78, passed away on December 12, 2023 at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church in Cochran. Mrs. Bryant will be laid to rest in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Shirley, a lifelong resident of Bleckley County, was the daughter of the late Josh and Dona Allen and preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Larry Bryant and her brother Simon Allen. Shirley worked as a bookkeeper at the Citizen's Bank of Cochran and as a florist at Crumpler's Florist. Her life was centered around her family and friends who were incredibly blessed to enjoy her sweet, loving soul. She was an exceptional seamstress. She jumped at every opportunity to go rambling or antiquing with her girlfriends. She was Elvis's number one fan and she loved to revel in the wonder of Christmas.

She is survived by two daughters, Pamela (David) Haviland and Shelia (John) Wells, five grandchildren, Shelby (Bo) Wright, Colby Haviland, Jody Bryant, Katie (Michael) Steelman, and Sara (Brent) McCullars, several great-grandchildren, Lanson Wright, Emberly Wright and Hardin Wright and one brother, Buddy Allen; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 590 Allen Ranch Road, Cochran and will greet friends after the committal Friday at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
