Cochran – Shirley Moore Dykes, age 81, died Monday, May 4, 2020, in Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, May 7, 2020, at 3:00 P.M. in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Dykes was a lifelong resident of Bleckley County. She was the daughter of the late Elbert and Maudie Mae Brown Moore and the wife of the late Eugene A. "Gene" Dykes. Mrs. Shirley was retired from Robins Air Force Base and a member of Trail Branch Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors are her sons, Mike (Terry) Dykes of Dublin and Mark (Michelle) Dykes of Cochran; grandchildren, Vyktoria Dykes and Leslie (Adrian) Golden; great grandchildren, Shailey, Braylee and Connor; her sister, Barbara (John) Harris of Cochran; her brother, Billy Moore of Warner Robins; several nieces and nephews and her fur baby Fibi.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the donor's charity of choice or to someone in need as an act of kindness.
