Cochran – Shirley Hill West, age 99, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, December 29, 2019, at her residence. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. in Limestone Baptist Church.

Mrs. West, born August 9, 1920 in Pontiac, Michigan, had lived in Daytona, Florida, before moving to Cochran 29 years ago. She was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Dollie Cole Hill and the wife of the late L. Dukes West, who she married in 1941. She and Mr. Dukes were owner and operators of West Construction in Daytona. She was a member of Limestone Baptist Church since 1994 and the Rebecca Joy Sunday School Class.

Survivors are her daughters, Gayle (Fred) Almand of Cochran and Pamela (John Paul) Dees of Richland Hills, TX; grandchildren, Wendi G. (John) Johnson, Randy S. (Cherie) Almand, Michael J. Dees, John F. Dees and Robin (Derek) Farley; great grandchildren, Waverli J. Almand, Devri B. Almand, Nicholas Farley, Jack Farley and Cameron Farley.

The family will greet friends after the service Wednesday at Limestone Baptist Church.
