Eastman – Sonya Renfroe Allen, age 56, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at her residence. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 16, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. The family will greet friends one hour before the service Monday at Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.

Sonya had lived most of her life in Cochran before moving to Eastman in 2010. She was the daughter of the late Delbert Lee and Betty Jean Williams Renfroe. She was a 1987 graduate of Bleckley County High School and attended Middle Georgia College. Sonya graduated from Central Georgia Technical School with a LPN degree and later graduated from South Georgia College with her RN degree. Sonya was a RN for Remarkable Hospice of Dublin and attended Christian Friends Church in Hawkinsville.

Survivors are her husband, Tim F. Allen of Eastman; her children, Benjamin Lee (Amber Linder) Grafton of Warner Robins, Elizabeth (Jermal Mitchell) Thompson of Dublin and Dakota Allen of Eastman; seven grandchildren; her brother, Del (Ellen) Renfroe of Eastman; niece, Kimberly Renfroe and nephew, Robbie Renfroe.

The family is at 170 J.T. Barlow Road, Eastman.
