Eastman – Stephen Allan "Steve" "Hubba Bubba" Ellis, age 63, died Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at his residence. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. in Chester Baptist Church in Chester.

Steve, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, had lived in Chester 23 years before moving to Eastman. He was the son of the late Wilber L. and Ann Ellis. He was a painter and member of Chester Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Julie Allen Ellis of Eastman; his children, Steven (Brittany) Justice of Eastman and Robert Justice of Chester, Eric (Sarah) Ellis of Maryland and Suzanne Ellis of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, including Madison Justice and Bryson Justice; great grandchild, Ashton Justice; brother, Bruce (Carolyn) Ellis of Pennsylvania; sister, Renee (Dewaine) Backman of Alabama; mother-in-law, Florence Field of Chester; sister-in-law, Donna Whittier of Dublin; brother-in-law's and sister-in-law's, Johnny and Tosha Allen of Chester and Kaye and Tim Smith of Empire; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 2144 Chester Highway, Eastman and will greet friends after the service Tuesday at Chester Baptist Church
