Cochran – Sue Roland Bowman, age 76, died Monday, July 12, 2021, at her residence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. in Union Hill Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Bowman was a lifelong resident of Bleckley County. She was the daughter of the late Menzie Eugene and Sadie Elizabeth Pace Roland and was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Roland Foskey and her nephew, Earl Foskey. Sue was a 1963 graduate of Cochran High School, a former employee at Robins Air Force Base and a homemaker. She was the former First Lady of the Southeastern Cushman Club. Sue was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and member of the Union Hill Cemetery Committee.

Survivors are her husband, H. Earl Bowman of Cochran; her daughter, Susie (Jeff) Hall of Warner Robins; her grandchildren, Tyler (Tara) Hall of Decatur, Tucker (Madeleine) Hall of Byron and Tanner Hall of Macon; several nieces and nephews including Agnes (Freddy) Berryhill and Sherry Shaw.

The family is at 792 GA Highway 126 East, Cochran and will greet friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Mathis Funeral Home.
