Charleston, SC – Susan Anna Horton, age 51, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023, at MUSC Health University Medical Center in Charleston, SC. Graveside memorial services will be held Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Bleckley County.

Susan, born in Dublin, had lived in Cochran most of her life before moving to Charleston, SC. She was the daughter of the late Linda Jackson Horton and was preceded in death by her baby son, Logan P Horton. She was a 1990 graduate of Bleckley County High School.

Survivors are her children, Amber Horton, Nathaniel (Katie Quimby) Horton and Emerald Walker all of Cochran; her father, Alex Chapple Horton of Cochran; her grandson, Aiden Horton; her sisters, Annette (Gary Raffield) Nguyen of Cochran and Joy (Mikey) Barlow of Rentz; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends after the service Thursday at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
