Cochran – Susie Rozier Knighton, age 61, died Saturday, October 19, 2019, in Emory Midtown in Atlanta, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. at Lakeview Baptist Church. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Susie, born in Hawkinsville, had lived most of her life in Cochran. She was the daughter of the late Jack and Ruby Hobbs Rozier and was preceded in death by her brother Mike Rozier. She was retired, after 42 years, from YKK in Macon. Susie loved her work, baking and caring for others. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church, member of the Adult Saints Sunday School Class and taught Children's Church and Sunday School.

Survivors are her husband of 15 years, Jerry Knighton of Cochran; her daughter, Cindy Hall of Warner Robins; step-children, Michelle (Steve) Miller of Cochran and Jeremy (Jennifer) Knighton of Woodstock; grandchildren, Aaron Miller, Samantha Miller and Jackson Knighton; sisters, Donna (Charles) Smith and Faye Roland of Cochran; brother, Jackie (Myra) Rozier of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 113 Lynn Place, Cochran and will greet friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday at Mathis Funeral Home.
