Cochran – Terry "Hero" Hobbs, age 59, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 11, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Trail Branch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

"Hero" was a lifelong resident of Cochran. He was the son of the late Roy, Sr. and Janice Mullis Hobbs. He was preceded in death by his sister, Susie Hobbs and his brother, Roy "Junior" Hobbs, Jr. Hero had worked at YKK, Lithonia Lighting, Hons Automotive, Cannon's Well Service, Standard Candy Company and Perdue. He had the knack of learning new skills for his job, quickly. He was able to master whatever he had to do in a matter of days. Hero also loved fishing, hunting, racing and mudding.

Survivors are his children, Teresa (PJ) Lopez and Phillip Hobbs of Cochran; his daughter-in-love, Danielle Rammage; grandchildren, Caden, Gracen, "Rusty" and Luna; his sister, Janet (Danny) Purser; his brother, Tim Hobbs; several nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and great nephews; Reggie Jones and all of his close friend,

The family is at 164 Warbler Rd, Cochran and will greet friends Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Mathis Funeral Home.
