Cochran – Thomas H. “Jackie” Rozier, age 71, passed away Friday, July 24, 2026 in Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 26, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. in Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church. The family will greet friends after the service Sunday at Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will be private.

Jackie, born in Hawkinsville, was a lifelong resident of Cochran. He was the son of the late Jack and Ruby Hobbs Rozier and preceded in death by his brother, Mike Rozier, his sisters, Susie Rozier Knighton and Faye Rozier Roland. He was retired, after 43 years, from Blue Bird Body Company in Ft. Valley and had worked and was a former manager for Piggly Wiggly. He was a 1973 graduate of Cochran High School and a member of Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Jackie was a loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather, and a friend to many. He will be remembered for his laid-back personality, his wonderful sense of humor, and his ability to always find a reason to laugh. For 52 years, Jackie shared a beautiful life with his beloved wife, who was the love of his life and his greatest companion. Together, they built a family filled with love, memories, and countless special moments. He was a wonderful father to his three children, always loving and supporting them in his own quiet and caring way. Jackie found great joy in the simple things in life. He loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting deer and fishing with his buddies. Some of his favorite memories were made sitting around with good friends, enjoying the outdoors, sharing stories, and, of course, having plenty of laughs along the way. But perhaps nothing brought Jackie more happiness than his eight grandchildren. He cherished every moment spent with them and took great pride in watching them grow. His grandchildren will always remember his love, his laughter, and the special memories they shared with their grandfather. Jackie lived life with a gentle, easygoing spirit. He never needed much to be happy—just his family, his friends, the outdoors, and a good laugh. His kindness, humor, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his laughter, his stories, and the love he gave so freely will remain with his family and friends forever.

Survivors are his wife, Myra B. Rozier of Cochran; his children, Brice (Brandi) Rozier of Danville, Whitney (Matt Stewart) Bradley and Madison (Luke) Moseley all of Cochran; his grandchildren, Andi Lynn Bradley, Liddy Stewart, Briley Rozier, Bailey Rozier, Rowan Moseley, Emerson Moseley, Charley Moseley and Lucy Moseley; his sister, Donna (Charles) Smith of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.
