Cochran – Timothy "Tim" Murrell, age 71, died Thursday, December 20, 2018, in Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 21, 2018, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Murrell, born in Macon, had lived in Cochran since 2004. He was the son of the late Mark and Carolyn Murrell and the husband of the late Sara Josephine "Jo" Graham Murrell. He was a retired senior program analyst for Union National Insurance Co. Tim was a member of the American Contract Bridge League and a Baptist.

Survivors are his nephew, Mark (Jennifer) Murrell of Cochran; his niece, Angie (Bob) Stephens of Locust Grove; sister-in-law, Linda (Walt) Bagnal of Warner Robins; step-sons, Gary (Sheila) Grantham and Jeff (Judy) Grantham of Cochran; several nieces and nephews; special thank you to his caregivers, Robert and Carol.

The family is at 188 E. Lewis Street and will greet friends after the service Friday at Mathis Funeral Home.
