Tommy Pipkin, age 74, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Crossview Care Center in Pineview. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church. Mr. Richard Pipkin, Rev. John Stover, and Mr. Jerry Knighton will officiate. The family will greet friends after the service at the church.
A lifelong resident of Cochran, Tommy was known throughout his community through both his work and the many connections he made over the years. He was a 1972 graduate of Cochran High School and went on to build a working life marked by a variety of roles. He owned and operated Tommy’s Game Room and also worked at Bollinger (Skinny’s) Grocery, J.M. Huber Corporation, Robins Air Force Base, and Walthall Oil Company in Twiggs County.
Tommy was the son of the late Thomas Pipkin and Letha Dixon Pipkin. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Pipkin and Eddie Pipkin.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Duggan Pipkin of Cochran; his sisters, Creola P. Kengla of San Diego, California, Zenobia (Earl) Barlow of Cochran, and Becky (Scott) Blair of Monroe; his brother, Richard (Twyla) Pipkin of Enterprise, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.
