Cochran – Tony Wayne Smith, age 66, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025, in Pinewood Manor Nursing Home in Hawkinsville. Memorial services will be private.

Tony, born in Hawkinsville, was raised in Cochran. He was the son of the late Bernard Eugene and Sarah Louise Arnold Smith and was preceded in death by his companion, Kathy Holt. He was a truck driver and cabinet maker. Tony was a 1977 graduate of Bleckley County High School, loved Georgia Tech and Ford trucks.

Survivors are his son, Tyler Smith of Eastman; his sister, Judy (Jeff) Grantham of Cochran; his brother, Jerry (Joyce) Smith of Cochran; nieces and nephew, Joy (Dennis) Simpson, Kristine Smith and Jimmy Grantham.
