Obituary

Cochran - Treasure Dawn McDaniel Lockhart, age 49, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday evening April 29, 2026, surrounded by her faithful husband Jason of 21 years, her children, her sweet mama and siblings. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. in the Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church. The family will greet friends after the service at the church.

Treasure was born on October 31, 1976 in Warner Robins, GA and Halloween was her favorite holiday.  She was the daughter of the late Ray McDaniel and preceded in death by her step-mother, Lucille Reeves McDaniel, her step-father Printice Roland, her sisters, Tracey Sryock and Doreen Sneel, her brother Randy Roland. She was a loving and precious mother to Dawn and Marley whom she loved and adored, and the world's best MeMe to her sweet Cleatus. She always took care of our sweet mama and they spent lots of times together cooking, going to Sam's for the whole family, as well as many other adventures. But without a doubt, her Jason was her world and her life's mission was to make him happy, and she did that well.

Treasure loved, adored and spoiled all of her many nieces and nephews as well as countless other children who were blessed to have her in their life. She was the family planner and organizer of all family events, and they were always the best times with lifetime memories made that we will cherish always.  Anytime anything was needed in the family or we didn't know what to do, the answer was always "call Treasure".  Other than spending time with and taking care of her family, Treasure loved to fish and enjoyed numerous family camping and fishing trips. She loved playing games, and she took winning seriously and showed mercy to no one. She was the Canasta Queen.

There are no words to adequately describe the void that the loss of "our Treasure" has left in our lives, but for as long as we shall live she will be loved, remembered and never forgotten. Heaven got a whole lot sweeter on Wednesday evening. There will never be another like "our Treasure."

Survivors are her husband, Jason Lockart; her children, Marilyn Maddox and Marley Prince; her grandchild, Abigail Maddox; her mother, Marilyn Roland; her siblings, Tommy Roland (Laurie), Terri House, Tina Mickel (Joe), Tonja Cannon (Casey), Teresa Booker (Donnie), Penny Moon (Keith), Tammy Coody (Stan), Katie McDaniel (Blake), John Roland (Jodi), Beth Carr (David) and Vicky Roland; several nieces and nephews  and her In-Laws- Danielle Brantley (Robbie), Casey Lockhart (Tonja), Thomas Lockhart, Israel Lockhart (Susan).

The family is at 338 Williams Road, Cochran.
