Cochran – Vickie Michelle Morgan, age 51, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Southern Pines Health and Rehab in Warner Robins. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

Vickie was born in Macon, on November 13, 1972. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Morgan. Vickie spent her childhood in Macon. She was a daddy's girl and Mr. Ray coached her in every sport she played. She graduated from Tatnall Square Academy, Class of 1991 and attended Atlanta Christian College on a music scholarship. Vickie was an excellent singer. She traveled with the Atlanta Christian College Choir all over the country. She was a member of the Macon Civic Chorale and sang at numerous events and weddings. She worked for the Georgia Department of Human Resources Division of Family & Children Services. Vickie had a great life and was a joy to be around. She was well mannered and was a good daughter. She loved her family very, very much, especially her three children. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and sang in the choir.

Survivors are her children, Joseph Morgan, Dezi Morgan and Ryan Morgan all of Cochran; her mother, Doris Morgan of Cochran; her brother, Troy (Ericka) Morgan of Newnan; her nephew, Garrison (Brittany) Morgan and her niece, Gabby Morgan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 134 Abney Rd, Cochran, GA 31014.

The family will greet friends after the service on Friday at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
