Cochran – Vodice Fordham Thompson, age 97, died Saturday, December 29, 2018, in Bryant Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 31, 2018, at 1:00 P.M. in the Cochran Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial will be in Yearty Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Thompson, born in Dodge County, had lived most of her life in Cochran. She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Minnie Nettie Horne Fordham, the wife of the late James Daniel Thompson, Sr. and the last survivor of 17 siblings. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cochran Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors are her children, Alice (Bob) McRae and Ron (Fay) Thompson of Cochran, J.D. (Frances) Thompson of Milan; fifteen grandchildren; thirty nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

The family is at 230 Bates Road and will greet friends one hour before the service Monday at the Cochran Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
