Cochran – W. David O'Neal, age 59, died Saturday, July 13, 2019, in the Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

David was a lifelong resident of Bleckley County and was the son of the late Fredrick "Fred" O'Neal. He was a 1978 graduate of Bleckley County High School and an employee of Armstrong Corporation in Macon. David loved his family, worked hard and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors are his wife, Charlotte O'Neal of Cochran; his children, Josh (Crystal) O'Neal, Jaime (Daniel) Poteat and John (Kelly) O'Neal of Cochran; grandchildren, Elias and Eris O'Neal, Richard and Victoria Poteat and Gracie Sartain; his mother Jewel Sapp (Sonny) Hinson of Cochran; sisters, Lynn (Gary) Floyd and Deniece (Kelly) Peacock of Chester, Robin (Keith) Floyd of Cochran, Freda (Charles) Hankins of Warner Robins and Carol O'Neal of Fayetteville; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 619 GA Highway 26 East and will greet friends from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Monday at Mathis Funeral Home.
