Cochran – Wade H. Rogers, Jr. age 76, passed away, Friday, July 24, 2026, at his residence. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 27, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 10:00 A.M. until time for the service Monday at Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.

Wade, born in Dodge County, had lived most of his life in Cochran. He was the son of the late Wade H., Sr. and Wille Ruth Ross Rogers and was preceded in death by his son, Greg Rogers, and his brother, Franklin Rogers. Wade was retired from Lithonia Lighting, was owner and operator of Wade’s Deer Processing, had worked for the Cochran Police Department and was a former member of the Civil Defense. He was a Freewill Baptist.

Survivors are his wife of 58 years, Dianne D. Rogers of Cochran; his children, Doug (Danette) Rogers and Eric (Dinone) Rogers all of Cochran; daughter-in-law, Tina Rogers of Hawkinsville; grandchildren, Jamie (Crystal) Rogers, Britleigh (Phillip) Odom, Jacob Rogers, Austin Rogers, Mackenzie (Conner) Harris and Maggie (Trace) Jones; seven great grandchildren; his brother, John McNair of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.
