Cochran – Wallace D. Peacock, age 86, died Monday, May 11, 2020, at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, May 14, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. in the Cedar Hill Cemetery with military honors.

Mr. Peacock, born and raised in Cochran, moved to Huntsville, Alabama in 1959 and returned to Cochran in 2005. He was the son of the late Pearl Porter and Mattie Horne Peacock, was preceded in death by his granddaughter Lindsey Erin Fulmer and his brothers, Carlton Peacock, Melvin Peacock, Ralph Peacock, Perle Peacock and Edwin Earl Peacock. He was retired from Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL and a US Army Veteran. He was a member of the Cochran First Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Vivian E. Peacock of Cochran; his children, Kim (Ty) Daniel of Huntsville, AL, Donnie (Anna Lee) Peacock of Athens, AL and Christie (Randy) Kelley of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Lauren (Jason) Lewis, Taylor (Maddie Sanders) Kelley, Hunter (Karen) Kelley, Kelsey Peacock, Kori (Luke) Railey, Parker Kelley, Cooper Kelley, Madelyn Lewis and Austin Ball; great grandchildren, Kendall, Tyson, Brooks and Graham; his brother, Harold (Helen) Peacock of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.
