Cochran – Wanda Stacks Zegers, age 79, died Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at her home in Cochran. Private Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Zegers, grew up in Fitzgerald and had lived in Phoenix, AZ for 30 years before moving to Cochran a year and a half ago. She was the daughter of the late Dan Stacks and Lucy Gaff Janis and the wife of the late Renny Zegers. She was preceded in death by her daughter Karen Rauton, her grandson T.J. Collins and her brother LaDan Stacks. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, relaxing outside, and watching the Hallmark Channel and old movies.

Survivors are her daughter, Kim (Robby) Manning of Cochran; grandchildren, Rhiannon (Cameron) Hall of Cochran, Kristy (Dean) Furr of Lyons, Josh (Allison) Manning of Dallas, TX, Kyle (Leslie) Manning of Savannah and Sarah (Timmy) Smith of Cochran; great-grandchildren, Tyler Hall, Riley Hall, Kelsey Furr, Paige Furr, Russ Furr, Grayson Manning, Lyric Manning, Willow Manning, Marlee Smith and a baby girl due in February; sisters, Ann Futch of Brunswick, Michele (Steve) Bellinger of New York, Marsha (Bob) Rowe of New Jersey, Mary Ellen Beebe of Pennsylvania, Sherry (Herb) Spangler and Jenny (Rick) Elliott of Macon; brothers, Michael Janis of New York and Glenn (Kay) Stacks of Lizella and Sister-in-Law Trudy Stacks of Missouri, numerous nieces and nephews.
