Chester – Wendell J. Mullis, age 81, died Friday, February 25, 2022, at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, February 27, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. in Pleasant Olive Cemetery in Chester.

Wendell, a lifelong resident of Dodge County, was the son of the late Blanton Monroe and Lillian Justice Mullis. He was a retired electrician from Mohawk Industries and a US Army Veteran.

Survivors are his wife, Laverne Mullis of Chester; his children, Scott (Leigh) Mullis of Chester, Timmy (Dawn) Mullis of Cadwell and Michelle (Brennan) Barnhill of Chester; his grandchildren, Tyler (Michaela) Mullis, Alayna Mullis, Ryder Barnhill, Rylee Barnhill all of Chester; step great grandchildren, Cole Rowland of Chester, Alyssa Mallot of Statesboro, Haley Sterling and Harlie Lakey both of Rentz; several nieces and nephews.

Th family is at 550 Phillips St., Chester and will greet friends after the service Sunday at Pleasant Olive Cemetery in Chester.
